This position is for a 2nd Grade Teacher at Sartori Elementary. Sartori is a K - 5 STEM school that focuses on producing students who are sense-makers. We have a unique schedule and different expectations for our teachers which is outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The requirements include regular participation in Professional Learning Communities which meet with a content area coach twice a week. Additionally, teachers participate in Lab days that focus on building lessons and delivering them collaboratively. We maintain a highly collaborative, professional work environment where we support one another. We have instructional coaches for Literacy, Math, and Science who develop curriculum, provide ongoing professional learning and support, as well as individual coaching to teachers, regardless of experience.
