What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager, Residential Decks (Maryland and Virginia) position at RenoSet LLC?
We build fixed-price composite decks across Maryland and Virginia. Our jobs are already sold, you'll never chase work. You manage the project from the day the permit is approved until the client signs off.
Pay: $30/hour, 40 hours a week, paid weekly. Full-time employee. Weekly stipend for gas. Pay review after 60 days.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. Work is a mix of on-site visits and working from home.
What you'll do:
- Be the client's one point of contact once the project starts, with updates they can rely on
- Book crews, confirm they show up, and answer simple on-site construction questions
- Order materials and check deliveries against the list
- Request utility marking for jobs that need it
- Check framing and finish work against the approved drawings before it's covered
- Schedule and attend inspections
- Confirm each payment milestone before work continues
- Run the punch list, get client sign-off, and handle warranty callbacks
- Escalate scope changes, disputes and failed inspections to the owner.
You should have:
- 2 or more years managing residential construction projects with crews on site. Hands-on building experience is a plus.
- Can read plans and talk to inspectors, workers, and clients on-site
- A reliable vehicle and a smartphone
- Clear written communication. You'll text and email clients and crews daily.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
