Renner Dance is a thriving, youth-focused, competitive dance studio with a strong track record in regional and national competitions. We are home to a dedicated Company program that trains dancers in multiple styles with high expectations for technique, discipline, and performance excellence.
We are looking for experienced and inspiring competitive dance Instructors to join our faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and rehearse competitive company classes in multiple styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, acro, and ballet.
- Choreograph solos, duets, and group pieces for competition season.
- Lead and clean rehearsals with a strong focus on precision, technique, musicality, and performance quality.
- Attend and support students at competitions as required.
- Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and preparedness throughout the season.
- Ensure age-appropriate instruction, physical safety, and professional conduct at all times.
- Provide clear, constructive corrections and structured technical progressions.
- Collaborate with faculty and ownership to ensure consistency in student development and program growth.
- Represent Renner Dance Company professionally with students, parents, and competition partners.
- Create a motivating, respectful, and disciplined classroom environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive training in one or more styles: jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, acro, and ballet.
- Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in competition setting.
- Proven experience choreographing both group and solo competition pieces.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to command a room with professionalism and energy.
- Familiarity with the structure and expectations of regional and national competitions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
