What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Instructor position at Carolina Dance Collabrative?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Dance Instructor to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a background in dance and experience working with students in various settings. We are wanting someone who is able to teach a Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4pm, as well as sub any classes as needed. There is also opportunity to take over more dance classes throughout the year!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dance lessons for students of all ages and skill levels
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Teach proper techniques, movements, and routines
- Provide feedback to students to help them improve their skills
- Choreograph dance routines for performances
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dance instruction or performance
- Knowledge of various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, or contemporary
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of different ages and skill levels
- Certification in dance or related field is a plus
