MANUFACTURING GENERAL LABORER

About the Role:

The Manufacturing General Laborer at our Kapolei Facility plays a crucial role in supporting the production process within the manufacturing sector. This position is responsible for assisting with various manual tasks that ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing lines, including material handling, equipment setup, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role demands attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to maintain product quality and workplace safety standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with production teams to meet daily production targets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position is vital in helping the facility achieve efficient, high-quality manufacturing output while fostering a culture of teamwork and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive motions.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with non-durable goods manufacturing processes.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand tools and simple machinery.
• Certification in workplace safety or related training (e.g., OSHA).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or other languages spoken at the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products to and from production areas.
• Operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools under supervision to support production activities.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of workstations, machinery, and production areas to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support quality control efforts by inspecting products for defects and reporting any issues to the quality team.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement programs as required.
