About the Role:

The General Laborer plays a crucial role in the wholesale trade industry by ensuring that all operational tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This position involves a variety of physical tasks that support the overall workflow of the warehouse and distribution center. The primary end result of this role is to maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment that meets the demands of our clients and stakeholders. General Laborers will be responsible for handling products, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring that all materials are prepared for shipment. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless operation of our supply chain, ensuring that goods are delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading and unloading products from delivery trucks and containers.
• Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring that all items are stored correctly.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the work area to uphold safety standards.
• Support the team in preparing orders for shipment, including packing and labeling products.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
