Overview:
We are looking for an experienced consultant with a background in aerodynamics or physics, specifically with expertise in wind behavior and its interaction with structures. The focus of this project is to support the analysis and optimization of solar tracker systems deployed in high-wind environments.
Scope of Work:
- Analyze wind flow and behavior around solar tracker structures in high-wind sites
- Assess structural impact and potential risks related to wind loads and turbulence
- Provide insights on how wind interacts with and affects tracker performance and stability
- Support with modeling, simulations, or theoretical analysis where needed
- Advise on potential design or structural improvements
Requirements:
- Background in aerodynamics, physics, or a related field
- Experience analyzing wind-structure interaction (e.g., turbulence, flow behavior, load impact)
- Ideally experience with solar trackers or similar structures (e.g., large-scale outdoor mechanical systems)
- Ability to work as a consultant and provide practical, actionable insights
Engagement:
- Consulting / project-based
- Remote, with flexible involvement depending on project needs
