We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team and support both clinical and administrative operations.
Position Overview:
The Medical Assistant will work closely with our providers to ensure exceptional patient care, smooth clinic flow, and a positive patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys patient interaction, and has an interest in aesthetics and wellness medicine.
Responsibilities:
- Room and prepare patients for exams and treatments
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
- Assist providers during aesthetic and medical procedures
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Perform phlebotomy and injections (if trained/within scope)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Educate patients on treatments, aftercare, and products
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Support front desk duties as needed (scheduling, patient flow, communication)
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification or completion of an MA program preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or medical spa is a plus
- Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in aesthetics, wellness, and patient-centered care
