Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part- Time/PRN Direct Care
Pay: Paid bi-weekly (every two weeks).
Schedule: Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. Shifts are 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (day and overnight rotation as assigned).
About the Role
Renew Residential Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living activities (personal care, hygiene, meals, housekeeping)
- Assist with medication administration per training and company policy, when applicable.
- Follow individual service plans and provide person-centered care.
- Encourage skill-building, independence, and social/recreational involvement
- Maintain a safe, clean, supportive home environment.
- Document daily activities, progress notes, and any incidents accurately and on time.
- Provide transportation to appointments or community activities if assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekends.
- Ability to support individuals with mobility and personal care needs.
- Basic computer/documentation skills.
- Driver’s license: Required depending on the employment status and shift being considered. A valid driver’s license is preferred for full-time day shift roles.
- Must pass background checks and other pre-employment requirements per state and company standards.
Experience in direct care, behavioral health, or disability services is a plus, but not required. Paid training provided.
