Direct Support Professional (DSP)
We’re looking for compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are ready to make a positive difference every day.
Position Overview
As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands-on support to individuals in a residential setting. You’ll assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help create a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered support with daily living activities, including meals, hygiene, and mobility
- Encourage participation in community outings and social activities
- Follow individualized care plans and communicate observations to the care team
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily progress and health updates
- Support each individual’s rights, choices, and overall well-being
- Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive home environment
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a caregiving role (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift or provide physical assistance as needed
- Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (required for day shift roles)
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check
Compensation
- Day Shift (Full-Time/Part-Time): $16.00 per hour
- Night Shift (Full-Time/Part-Time): $15.00 per hour
- PRN (As Needed): $16.00 per hour
