Direct Support Professional (DSP)
About the role
Renew Residential Services is seeking a caring and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives. You will help clients build independence, stay safe, and participate in their community.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as hygiene, meals, and household tasks
- Support clients with routines, goal-building, and community outings
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment
- Document services provided and report any concerns to supervisors
- Follow care plans and agency policies at all times
- Provide companionship and positive behavioral support
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass background checks and complete required trainings
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to assist with daily living needs and follow individualized care plans
- Prior caregiving/DSP experience preferred, but not required (paid training provided)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for specific shift lines only, based on client transportation needs

Schedule Options
- Full-time: 3x12 schedule (three 12-hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. Schedules are posted in 2-week blocks and rotate consistently.
- Part-time: 1–2 shifts per week, based on program needs and availability.
- PRN (As Needed): Highly flexible scheduling with the option to pick up shifts as available. PRN team members must work at least 8 hours per month to remain active and retain employment.
