Insurance Restoration Sales Manager and Estimator (Base Salary + Tiered Bonus Structure)

Role Summary

We are a specialty cabinet restoration shop in Springfield, VA, and we are looking for a practical, driven Sales Manager & Estimator to build and own our project pipeline. We don't do retail sales or direct-to-consumer pitching. Instead, our jobs are generated by building relationships with restoration companies, mitigation crews, and insurance adjusters.

This role requires a unique mix of field grit, relationship-building, and technical estimating. You will spend your time out in the field connecting with restoration partners to secure referrals for potential jobs, responding to damaged property sites to write precise cabinet repair estimates, and working directly with insurance adjusters or restoration partners to get your estimates approved. We offer the security of a base salary, combined with uncapped upside compensation based on a tiered bonus structure, with realistic first year OTE of $75k-$95k . Key Responsibilities

• Build Referral Networks: Get out of the office and into the field to connect face-to-face with local restoration companies, mitigation leads, and insurance adjusters to keep our company top-of-mind for cabinet claims. Track business development activities using company CRM (DASH).
• On-Site Inspections & Measuring: Respond quickly to referred property losses - both residential and commercial. Inspect, document, and measure damaged cabinetry and woodwork in residential and commercial properties.
• Write & Submit Estimates: Scope out profitable, highly accurate cabinet removal, repair, restoration, and re-installation estimates based on real-world labor and material costs, using provided software tool and mobile app (Joist).
• Insurance Claim Negotiation: Work hand-in-hand with insurance adjusters to explain your line items, justify the scope of restoration over replacement, and push estimates through to formal approval.
• Own the Process: Follow up diligently on all open bids, secure customer Work Authorizations, keep our CRM updated, and conduct final project walkthroughs when necessary with homeowners, restoration partners, and insurance adjusters to ensure absolute customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Industry Experience: 2 years of experience in property restoration, insurance adjusting, roofing, or residential home-services estimating. Familiarity with how insurance claims and property damage processes work is highly preferred.
• Outbound Grit: A self-starter who is comfortable dropping by job sites or restoration offices to introduce our services and build a reliable network of referral partners. Comfort in generating self-sourced leads through relationship-driven activities, industry events, etc.
• Technical Eye: Strong math skills with the ability to accurately measure spaces, draw accurate renderings of cabinet layouts, and conceptualize woodworking scopes of work. Experience with restoration estimating software (like Xactimate) is a huge plus.
• Clear Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with anxious homeowners, busy mitigation and restoration partners, and analytical insurance adjusters alike.
• Logistics: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
