Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish cabinetry using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machines, and woodworking machines
- Install cabinets, fixtures, doors, siding, trim carpentry, and other woodwork components on-site with attention to detail
- Ensure adherence to power tool safety standards while operating equipment such as saws, drills, sanders, and other power tools
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood construction materials, rebar for framing, or heavy cabinetry components safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation, address issues like water damage restoration or stucco repairs if needed, and ensure compliance with building codes
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machinery, and woodworking machines
- Strong background in carpentry including framing carpentry, trim carpentry
- Experience in remodeling projects
- Knowledge of woodworking materials such as siding, cabinetry components, fixtures installation including door hanging and fixture mounting
- Familiarity with construction site experience water damage restoration and mold remediation
- Experience in the restoration industry or with renovation projects is a plus
- Skilled in fabrication techniques including assembly of custom cabinets or fixtures using schematics or technical drawings
- Capable of heavy lifting tasks required during installation or manufacturing processes
MUST HAVE OWN HAND TOOLS/SAFTEY EQUIPMENT, COMPANY WILL SUPPLY LARGE SHOP TOOLS !
