Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with menu planning by preparing components for daily specials and seasonal offerings
• Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
• Support the kitchen team during food preparation, cooking, plating, and garnishing of meals
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
• Participate in catering events and special functions as needed, providing excellent food service

Experience

• Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
• Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are a plus
• Experience with menu planning, food presentation, and catering services will be advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Prior experience in food service or culinary roles demonstrates readiness for this position
