We are looking for: An experienced, reliable prep & production assistant to join our team and grow into taking ownership of daily prep and production in our French Bakery.
This role will start as a hands-on support position, working alongside owners to learn the our products, systems and flow. Overtime, the goal is for you to independently own the lab's daily production - ensuring consistency, quality, and readiness each day.
This is an ideal role for a baker operations assistant who wants more ownership and autonomy without the pressure of running an entire bakery from day one.
What You Will do :
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items including ....
- Confortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy hours
- Support daily prep and production
- Gradually take on more responsibility for managing the bake schedule and workflow
- Manage oven timing, batching, and production sequencing in a one-person kitchen
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace throughout your shift
- Assist with prep for future days (batching, par-bakes, etc...) Cleaning and restocking
- Ensure product quality and consistency meet our standards
What We're Looking for :
- Pior Experience as a Baker Prep & Prod Assistant
- Strong foundation in baking techniques and lab workflow
- Consistency & Ability to work independently
- Enthusiastic, reliable and punctual, positive and team-oriented culture
Schedule:
- Morning or Afternoon Shifts - No late nights
