Key Responsibilities
- Build meaningful rapport with clients from all walks of life
- Conduct compassionate, comprehensive pre-admission assessments
- Accurately document substance use, mental health, and psychosocial history
- Collaborate with clinical and admissions teams to ensure seamless transitions
- Manage multiple assessments while maintaining attention to detail
- Prioritize urgent cases with calm, clarity, and care
- Uphold confidentiality standards (HIPAA compliance)
- Adapt to fast-paced, ever-changing schedules and needs
- Experience in behavioral or mental health, addiction recovery, or intake (preferred)
- A heart for helping people - and the communication skills to match
- Strong organization and time management in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent writing and documentation skills
- Tech-savvy (familiar with EHR systems or ready to learn)
- Flexibility, reliability, and a team-first attitude
- Collaborative, mission-driven, and supportive culture
- Frequent interaction with clients (in-person or virtually)
- May involve extended screen time and back-to-back assessments
- Flexibility required to meet client and organizational needs
