What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Bookkeeper position at Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel?
We are looking for a new Assistant Bookkeeper who is a dedicated, has a great attitude, and is enthusiastic! The Assistant Bookkeeper should work well with others, be able to multitask, and take on assigned tasks.
Essential Duties:
- Handling basic bookkeeping tasks accounts payable/accounts receivables.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, and statements and gathering backup documentation.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Assist with special accounting projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
- Daily account updates & categorization of expenses for multiple entities. Daily scanning & filing of various documents
Qualities To Have:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Self-starter. Able to work alone or in a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Hardworking and personable. Strong communication skills with a great personality.
Job Requirements:
- General bookkeeping experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Marriott FSPMS knowledge is a plus.
- Excel, Google Drive, Microsoft, and general computer applications.
