Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Naples, FL for an Assistant Interior Designer. The Assistant Interior Designer will collaborate with the design team on a range of residential and commercial projects. Daily responsibilities include assisting in space planning, creating presentations, developing construction drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, and supporting overall project execution. The candidate will work closely with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects meet design goals, timelines, and budgets with a focus on detail and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design principles
- Knowledge of Architecture and experience with Construction Drawings
- Proficiency in selecting, specifying, and managing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and project teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field required
- Experience with residential and/or commercial design projects, new construction, and renovations preferred
- Knowledge of industry trends and sustainability practices is a plus
