Role Description This full-time, on-site Interior Designer role is based in Fort Myers, FL. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and budget, then develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations that reflect the Robb & Stucky brand aesthetic. Daily responsibilities include creating floor plans, selecting furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessories, and coordinating with sales and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and installation. The role involves preparing design documentation, guiding clients through the showroom, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current trends, products, and vendor offerings. The Interior Designer will also support project management activities, monitor project timelines, and provide outstanding client service from initial consultation through project completion.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Interior Design, including concept development, material selection, and coordination of FF&E.
- Strong Space Planning skills with the ability to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts for residential environments.
- Working knowledge of Architecture principles and Construction Drawings to communicate design intent and support installation requirements.
- Experience preparing FF&E specifications, sourcing luxury furnishings, and aligning selections with client needs and project budgets.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and Microsoft Office; familiarity with presentation tools.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in residential or showroom interior design, preferably in luxury or high-end furnishings.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant certifications or professional affiliations are a plus.
