Location: Hybrid - Basking Ridge, NJ (on‐site Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
Duration: Approximately 6 months
Schedule: Full‐time
Pay Rate: $35/hour
Position Overview
This role is responsible for the end‐to‐end administration of claims ranging from routine to complex and requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from intake through resolution
- Analyze statutory and policy coverage, including primary and excess coverage
- Conduct claim investigations and oversee litigation and budget management through trial and appeal, as applicable
- Coordinate medical management and oversee vendor, medical, and settlement payments
- Establish and maintain appropriate reserves
- Handle claim reporting, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement activities
- Manage and communicate with third‐party vendors
- Provide high‐quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible workers’ compensation claims experience
- Demonstrated experience handling New Jersey workers’ compensation claims
- Strong knowledge of claim procedures, statutes, compliance requirements, insurance laws, and coverage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to move within an office environment and perform prolonged computer work
Technology & Equipment Requirements
- Must have a personal desktop or laptop with high‐speed internet access
- Must maintain equipment compatible with remote access systems
- Mobile phone required for two‐factor authentication while telecommuting
