Front Desk & Billing Coordinator

What You’ll Do
- Greet patients, check them in, and assist with front-desk inquiries
- Review medical records and ensure accurate ICD-9/CPT coding
- Capture all service charges and post insurance, personal, and agency payments
- Review credit balances and process refunds when needed
- Follow up on delinquent accounts through calls, letters, and collections support
- Discuss account details with patients and set up payment plans
- Answer patient phone calls regarding billing questions
- Complete insurance credentialing paperwork for providers
- Provide backup support for clerical and administrative tasks
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
Minimum Experience
- Experience scheduling appointments
- Experience in medical billing or a financial-related role required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Familiarity with insurance plans, requirements, and collection practices
