Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate project financial records, including job costs, budgets, and forecasts
- Assist with monthly cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Prepare and submit client billings, including AIA progress billings
- Monitor accounts receivable and support collection efforts
- Review subcontractor pay applications and track retainage
- Support change order tracking and ensure accurate cost allocation
- Partner with Project Managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Assist with project closeout activities, including reconciliations and final reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and contract requirements
- Support audit requests and maintain organized financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (open to working experience)
- 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments
- Basic understanding of job cost accounting and financial reporting
- Familiarity with AIA billing and percentage-of-completion accounting is a plus
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Viewpoint, CMiC, or similar) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
