Salary: $55,000-$75,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and post-trial proceedings. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys being a key member of the litigation team. Candidates with either plaintiff or defense litigation experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including pre-suit, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities.
• Manage and maintain litigation files, ensuring accurate organization of physical and electronic records.
• Coordinate and support discovery efforts, including document collection, review, organization, and production.
• Draft, proofread, and prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Prepare deposition summaries, review transcripts, and organize deposition exhibits.
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness files, exhibits, trial binders, and courtroom support.
• Conduct legal and factual research using various legal research platforms and databases.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors.
• Monitor case deadlines, court schedules, and litigation milestones.
• Support matter administration, conflict checks, billing, expense reporting, and related activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal and ethical requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• 5 years of litigation paralegal experience required, supporting cases from inception through trial.
• Experience in plaintiff or defense litigation required.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Excellent legal drafting, written communication, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with document management systems, legal research platforms, and litigation support software is preferred.
• Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and commitment to quality client service.
