🚨 Staff Accountant | Manufacturing | Blue Springs, MS

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Blue Springs, Mississippi that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, wants exposure to all areas of accounting, and is looking to grow within a stable and expanding company.
If you enjoy month-end close, financial reporting, inventory accounting, analysis, and working directly with operations, this could be the career move you've been looking for.
What You'll Be Doing:
✅ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
✅ Analyze financial results and identify trends and variances
✅ Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations
✅ Support inventory accounting and manufacturing operations
✅ Assist with payroll processing and reporting
✅ Handle cash management, ACH, and wire transactions
✅ Maintain fixed asset and lease accounting records
✅ Support audits, budgeting, and financial planning initiatives
✅ Partner with leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial information
What We're Looking For:
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
✔ 3 years of accounting experience
✔ Strong Excel skills
✔ Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close
✔ Manufacturing accounting experience highly preferred
✔ ERP experience (Sage Peachtree or similar systems)
✔ Someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute
