About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to take a key leadership role supporting our finance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position partners closely with the Controller and senior leadership team, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and audit coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a strategic business partner to the Controller, contributing to financial planning and decision-making.
- Lead and manage all aspects of manufacturing cost accounting, including product costing, margin analysis, and operational efficiency reporting.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial projections.
- Analyze performance results, compare actuals to forecast, and provide clear explanations and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, internal controls, and procedures to protect company assets and ensure compliance.
- Manage financial oversight of key areas such as fixed assets, inventory, payables, receivables, and expense reporting.
- Prepare and present financial results and insights to executive leadership.
- Act as a liaison with external auditors, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met.
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives through SAP and other financial systems.
- Contribute to new product introductions and other strategic projects from a financial perspective.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of leadership or management experience in a manufacturing finance environment.
- Strong SAP background with hands-on experience in cost accounting and reporting.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
