We are a well-established construction sheet metal fabrication and installation company based in Pacoima, specializing in high-quality metalwork for commercial and residential projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Sheet Metal Installers to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator and Installer, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and finishing of various sheet metal components used in construction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install sheet metal components including flashings, pans, ductwork, gutters, downspouts, and custom metalwork
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools
- Ensure all work is completed according to specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Operate machinery and tools such as shears, brakes, and welding equipment
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project timelines
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at job sites
- Communicate effectively with foremen, project managers, and other crew members
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years (prefer 5 years) of sheet metal installation experience
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work at heights when required
- Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
- Punctual and dependable with good communication skills
