What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Dining Bartender position at Remington Park Racing & Casino?
DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mix and serve alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
- Follows all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
- Accurately handling various forms of cash transactions, decision-making, problem solving, complaint resolution, and customer service.
- Ensures appearance of bar and lounge are maintained in a clean and functional manner.
- Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required.
- Requires knowledge and skills needed to safely prepare and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws.
- Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, liquor dispensing systems, cash, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable in food and beverage sanitation, guest service, cash control policies, practices, and protocols.
- Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
