JOB SUMMARY
- Lead by example and supervise team members to support positive customer interactions.
- Will train, coach, and reinforce service standards.
- May assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage daily.
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed, following guidelines and checklists as needed.
- Ensures the team has the tools and knowledge needed to perform their job.
- Actively communicates with the back of the house for smooth operation of the restaurant.
- Reports any safety or health concerns.
- Assists guests with questions, concerns or needs.
- Assist with any area of the restaurant as needed.
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in upscale casual table service restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated leadership in table service style restaurants, including training and coaching, and reinforcing service standards.
- Excellent communication skills for team development and driving positive customer interactions.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment; basic math skills essential.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking. (6-8 hours a day)
- Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing/writing, and operating tools and equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Job entails bend, reach, or carry items.
- Ability to lift and/or move 10--25 pounds as needed.
- Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods.
