What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Supervisor position at Remington Hospitality?
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support front desk agents during shifts
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out process
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and escalations professionally
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and service quality
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Have complete understanding of Front Office staff's roles and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time.
- Accurately check AM and PM discrepancy reports.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
- Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding room status, guest requests, and maintenance needs.
- Efficiently process and follow up on guest requests by coordinating with the appropriate departments
- Step in as Manager on Duty when required
- Previous front desk or hospitality experience required (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- High Work ethic and self-initiative
- Ability to calmy work with high demand and/or upset guests
- May required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel
