At Remedy Speech Therapy, we are expanding our Occupational Therapy services and are looking for a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA wanting to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic with great support and community.
Must hold a current Virginia Occupational Therapy Assistant license and maintain NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Remedy Speech Therapy is a multidisciplinary pediatric clinic located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, myofunctional therapy, tutoring, groups, camps, and family education programs. Our mission is to help children thrive while creating a positive experience for both families and clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
- Provide engaging, child-centered therapy sessions
- Document treatment sessions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with the supervising OT and clinic team
- Communicate professionally with families regarding home carryover recommendations
- Maintain a positive, organized treatment environment
Qualifications
- Current COTA license in Virginia
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful goals
