Nurse Educator, Surgical Services (Operating Room)

Details--

• Hours: (4 x10hrs)- SET HOURS, FOUR DAYS a WK!
• Direct Report: Reports to a Director of Education that has a participatory approach, helps out the OR educator to ensure they are supported enough to be successful in this role.
• Team approach: Getting help from the Director of Education and the Director of Surgical services to support the training that is necessary for this growing division.
• Work with another Nurse Educator for PACU to support each other in the department.
• Surgeries: Have a variety of surgeries they will teach such as Neurology, Orthopedics, Robotics, General surgery, GYN, Vascular, Urology, Transplant, and Plastics.

• 5 weeks of PTO
• $100,000 to $155,000

REQUIREMENTS--

• At least two years of RECENT OPERATING ROOM experience.
• Prefer Periop 101 Course experience
• MUST have MSN DEGREE
• Ability to be effective in communication
