We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk. This position is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.

Job Duties:

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and payment requests.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account balances.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and audits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 1–2 years of accounts payable experience required.
• Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls.
