Remede Consulting Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbia, South Carolina.

PCU unit - AHA ACLS / BCLS / NIH / TELE required. Medication test required.
36 hrs only
6 weekend shifts per every 6 week schedule.
2 yrs exp for 1st time travelers
Shift: 3 x 12 hr

Patient Diagnoses:
Surgical Trauma
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
A 41-bed progressive care trauma / Tele unit primarily geared towards adult patients requiring care after experiencing traumatic injury typically requiring surgical intervention. The typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:4 flexing up to 1:5 as needed. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring for up to 14 patients. 7 East and West patients are hemodynamically stable. Examples of these patients include those with injuries related to gunshot wounds or other penetrating injury, assaults, motor vehicle crashes, and falls.
