Commitment: Every other weekend and rotating holidays
We are seeking highly skilled and adaptable Night Shift RNs to join our elite ED Float Pool. In this critical role, they will provide exceptional care to both adult and pediatric patients across our fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing assessments and direct patient care in acute specialty settings.
Float seamlessly across various ED units with minimal orientation.
Maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Licensure: Current New York State RN Registration.
Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent (within the last 2 years) acute care experience in a similar-sized facility. Level 1 or 2 trauma experience strongly preferred.
Travelers: Must have previous experience in hospitals of equal or greater size and trauma designation.
Systems: Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
Compliance: Clean professional record (no suspended/investigated licenses or named malpractice claims).
