Job Summary: The landscape foreman will supervise and coordinate labor workers to ensure well-maintained scope of work, proper use of tools, and responsible allocation of resources. This person will assign tasks, train workers, monitor performance, and provide material and cost estimates. They will work closely with the owner to ensure quality of service and culture of employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Delegating tasks and overseeing the use of tools and equipment
  • Recruiting and training new crew members
  • Assessing progress and making recommendations
  • Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations at all times
  • Completing landscape design and construction
  • Overseeing the project and ensuring timely completion
  • Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections
  • Preparing spreadsheets and other documents
  • Providing cost, material, equipment and time estimates
  • Scheduling training sessions wherever required
  • Snow removal in the winter time. Job duties include:
  • Hand shoveling snow
  • Snowblowing
  • Pushing snow with skid or truck
  • Potential snow removal in the event of a large storm

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping
  • 2 years experience working in Landscape
  • 2 years experience in managing multiple employees
  • Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and jobs at the same time
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Good stamina and physical health
  • Must have their own transportation and a cell phone

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
