We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Central Scheduling Receptionist/Medical Records Clerk to join our administrative team and play a key role in supporting our clinics and patients.
Position Summary:
As a Central Scheduling Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for incoming calls across all ReLive locations. Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, processing medical records, and handling patient payments. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls for all 8 clinic locations
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and update patient records
- Process medical record requests and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Collect and post patient payments, co-pays, and account balances
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to all patients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting (preferred)
- Experience with medical scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR)
- Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, insurance verification and payment processing procedures (preferred)
