Reliant Staffing Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio.

Job Summary (List Format):
- Oncology nursing experience required; sickle cell and chemo certification preferred but not mandatory.
- No block scheduling; shifts of 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Contract options: 18 or 20 weeks available.
- Must have stepdown (SD) or progressive care unit (PCU) experience with documented 1:5 patient ratio.
- ICU experience does not count as SD/PCU experience for this role.
- Patient ratio typically 1:4, but can be up to 1:5–6.
- Must float to all stepdown/advanced care units as needed.
- Must have prior EPIC EMR experience.
- Must pass online EKG telemetry competency assessment before assignment start.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.
- Will be fitted for N95 mask or provided PAPR as necessary.
- 1.5 years of nursing experience required; Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience preferred.
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred.
- Will be first to float, as needed, within specialty clusters and possibly to multiple campus locations (within 15 miles).
- Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday.
- Premier Health may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census.
- Contracts may be cancelled with 2 weeks’ notice.
- Travelers are not eligible for Premier Health employee incentives.
- Unit is a 35-bed medical/radiation oncology unit; mixed acuity (Med Surg and Advanced Care).
- Patient population includes oncology, hematology, blood products, chemotherapy, drips, PCAs, wounds, and more.
- ONS-certified RNs administer chemotherapy.
- Navy blue scrubs required.
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application; no additional RTO requests after offer.
- Application and current Nursys report required at submittal; other certifications not needed if listed on application.
