We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in overseeing the financial activities of our organization, including preparing and reviewing financial reports, providing accurate financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.

This role plays a critical part in overseeing the financial activities of our organization, including preparing and reviewing financial reports, providing accurate financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to enhance accounting processes and guide organizational financial decisions in an evolving workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Oversee the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial transactions
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support business decisions
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Provide support for external accountants
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency
- Research and resolve complex accounting issues and discrepancies
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Provide mentorship and guidance to accounting team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- 4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
