Position Overview
As an Occupational Therapist at Reliant Healthcare Group, you will play a vital role in helping children reach their fullest potential through individualized, engaging, and goal-driven therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, develop, and implement occupational therapy treatment plans with measurable goals
- Engage patients using fun, age-appropriate activities and therapeutic interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
- Communicate effectively with families regarding progress and strategies for home support
Qualifications
- Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Texas state license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required
Basic Physical Requirements
- Maintain various postures (kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting) for extended periods
- Walk and run for extended periods as needed
- Transition independently between sitting and standing
- Perform quick body movements as required by behavior intervention plans
- Lift a minimum of 25 pounds
- Transfer, position, and transport patients and adaptive equipment
- Read and interpret written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper
- Demonstrate manual dexterity for electronic documentation and data collection
