Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our growing team. You'll work directly with clients to bring their vision to life while ensuring seamless execution of events from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of events from initial consultation through post-event follow-up
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process
- Collaborate with vendors, caterers, florists, photographers, and other service providers
- Conduct venue tours and consultations with prospective clients
- Create detailed event timelines and coordinate day-of logistics
- Oversee setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all details meet client expectations
- Manage event contracts, payments, and administrative tasks
- Maintain venue appearance and coordinate maintenance needs
- Assist with marketing initiatives and social media content creation
- Handle multiple events simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Required Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Experience with wedding and special event coordination
- Knowledge of local vendors and service providers in the St. Louis area
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing principles
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) a plus

Schedule
This position requires flexibility with scheduling, including evenings and weekends during peak event season (April through October). Some travel to off-site events may be required.
