Human Resources Assistant (Temporary)
Location: Operations Facility – On‑Site
Status: Temporary | Entry‑Level
Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant (Temporary) provides administrative support to the HR team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role supports daily HR operations, employee record maintenance, attendance tracking, and general HR administration while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with employee file management, including creating, maintaining, scanning, and filing documents
- Support daily attendance tracking, call‑out documentation, and basic reporting
- Assist with badge creation and deactivation
- Maintain breakroom postings and HR communication boards
- Provide general administrative support such as data entry, copying, and document preparation
- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor as needed
- Support special HR projects and audits
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work on‑site in a manufacturing environment
- Previous administrative or HR experience preferred but not required
Work Environment:
- Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment
- Must be able to stand, walk the plant floor, and follow all safety requirements
Schedule and Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM or 8:00AM-5:00PM
