Job Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Supervisor, your main role is to lead and support a productive team in a warehouse environment. You'll oversee team leaders and members, ensuring they work effectively and develop their skills.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Environment: Create a safe and engaging workplace that encourages team involvement and innovation.
- Operations Coordination: Coordinate warehouse activities to meet high standards in safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency, morale, and environmental compliance.
- Team Development: Provide feedback, coaching, and training to team members as needed.
- Problem Solving: Analyze daily challenges, find root causes, and implement solutions while promoting safe practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Use continuous improvement activities (like Kaizen) to enhance processes.
- Team Culture: Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety among team members and management.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred but not required.
- 3 years of work experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as needed.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with team members and leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
