What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial (Tariff) Financial Analyst position at Reliance One, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret tariff data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for recovery
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on tariff performance, recovery metrics, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights necessary for effective tariff reporting and recovery strategies
- Develop and implement processes to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of tariff reporting
- Monitor changes in tariff regulations and assess their impact on the organization’s financial performance
- Assist in the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for staff on tariff reporting and recovery processes
- Support the Finance team in budgeting and forecasting related to tariff impacts
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and best practices in tariff management
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within a finance or regulatory environment
- Tariff reporting, analyzing Tariff data, preparing reports, and developing strategies to optimize tariff recovery processes
- Strong Analytical skills
