Job Description
- Develop ride and handling performance of vehicle frame, body, and chassis (including suspension and bushings) through prediction, evaluation, and analysis.
- Use CAE, FEA, MBD, or other simulation methods to identify and solve engineering challenges.
- Collect and evaluate vehicle and bench test measurements in collaboration with technician team members.
- Analyze and organize data to support vehicle dynamics development.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an engineer (including industry co-op/internship, SAE project leadership, etc.).
- Completed academic coursework in mechanical engineering, including structures, vibrations, or automotive dynamics.
- Experience in engineering experimentation, including planning, measurements, statistical analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with commercial FEA pre-processors, solvers, and post-processors.
- Experience contributing to projects as part of a diverse team.
