Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Manage general contractor and subcontractor field construction activities
- Ensure compliance with construction safety requirements and maintain incident-free projects
- Support project budgets and schedules while identifying and resolving field issues
- Complete daily field status reports for management review
- Review contractor change orders, validate scope and costs, and submit for owner approval
- Coordinate communication between owner, contractors, and A/E firms
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and construction documents
- Support and participate in weekly general contractor meetings
- Maintain meeting minutes and action item tracking
- Coordinate project close-out activities including as-builts, O&M manuals, and training documentation
- Support commissioning, startup, and Kanban activities
- Prepare, review, and coordinate punch-list completion
- Complete all acceptance testing procedures
- Administer construction contracts and monitor contractor compliance with plans and specifications
- Present project status reports to ownership and leadership teams
- Implement countermeasures to maintain project schedule and delivery goals
- 5 years of construction project management experience or A/E firm project management experience
- Strong construction background required (industrial strongly preferred)
- Commercial construction experience considered; residential experience is not preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and field coordination skills
- Ability to manage contractors, schedules, and multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience reviewing plans, specifications, and construction documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Skilled trades background with superintendent or project manager experience
- Industrial construction experience strongly preferred
- Experience with cost estimating and scheduling
- Microsoft Project

- Autodesk Build / Building Connected
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office Suite
