Overview
We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to efficiently manage snow removal operations during winter months. This role is vital for maintaining safe and accessible roads, driveways, and parking lots. Prior knowledge of mechanical systems, power tools, and equipment such as excavators is highly desirable. Duties
- Operate snow plowing equipment to clear parking lots, and walkways efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on plow trucks and related machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for minor repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed.
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, irrigation, gardening, and landscape maintenance during off-season periods.
- Support other construction or land development projects involving hardscape installation or excavation work.
- Maintain safety standards by recognizing potential hazards related to snow removal and landscape work.
- Keep work areas clean and organized following company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating snow plow equipment; familiarity with mechanical systems is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, skid steers, and other landscaping or construction machinery safely.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to snow plowing and outdoor maintenance work.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience in snow removal is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred. This position requires a dedicated individual committed to maintaining safety and quality standards while performing outdoor maintenance tasks efficiently.
