What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Renovation Assistant Superintendent position at Reliance Construction Company, LLC?
Assistant Superintendent
- Has the ability to fully understand the overall project (just as much as the lead super).
- Experience in hotels and hospitality, but if none, then at least must have the competency to learn quickly.
- Covers for the lead super during his/her time off
- Speaks English (bi-lingual is a plus; not necessary).
- Has an understanding and can read plans and verify critical dimensions.
- Has fundamental knowledge of how to use a laptop and access company server info. Must be electronically literate to some degree to cover for the lead superintendent.
- Can also direct and manage all subcontractors during lead superintendent’s time off.
- Assists the lead super as needed.
- Understand how to call in all necessary City inspections.
- Minimum knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat to open, edit and print emails, documents sent by the PM and/or design team.
- Has the competency to use MS Excel to update guestroom progress matrices each day.
- Has the ability and competency to update job logs each day.
- Possesses the ability, and/or at least has the competency, to prepare and submit warehouse requests as required.
- Must be a self-starter and time Management is a must.
