Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent through effective sourcing channels and applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
- Lead employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company culture.
- Oversee performance management processes, including employee evaluations, goal setting, and succession planning to promote continuous development.
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts proactively, conducting investigations when necessary, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans using platforms like Paychex or ADP.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations such as OSHA and FMLA while maintaining accurate HRIS data collection and reporting.
- Supervise HR team members in daily operations related to payroll processing (Paychex, Dayforce), HRIS management (UltiPro, Ceridian), and process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational design, change management strategies, and strategic planning to support business growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising HR functions with a strong understanding of human capital management principles.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition strategies including sourcing (HR sourcing), interviewing techniques, and applicant tracking systems like Taleo or PeopleSoft.
- Strong negotiation skills for contracts related to benefits administration and vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or UltiPro; familiarity with payroll systems like Paychex or Kronos is preferred.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives while managing multiple projects effectively within budget constraints.
- Organizational design experience coupled with data analysis skills for workforce planning and process improvement initiatives.
