Picture your day starting at 8:00 AM: you review work orders and blueprints, load material, and dial in machine parameters—speed, power, and focal length—to hit exact specifications.
What a day looks like
- Operate CNC laser cutting equipment to cut, form, and fabricate metal parts per drawings.
- Set up jobs and adjust laser settings (speed, power, focal length) for optimal quality and throughput.
- Monitor runs, make live adjustments, and uphold efficiency standards.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to validate tolerances.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to plan each job.
- Use hand tools and tooling to assemble and finish fabricated parts.
What you bring
- Laser background and strong machine operation experience.
- Ability to specialize in laser marking, laser welding, and laser cutting.
- Small hand dexterity is a plus.
Schedule & pay
- 1st shift: 8am–5pm. Temporary for a couple weeks.
- Pay between $18
