What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flatbed Semi Truck Driver position at Reliable Deliveries LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbed trailers
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Communicate with dispatch to coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair procedures
- Familiarity with various types of trucks, such as flatbeds, and route driving
- Ability to operate heavy equipment as needed
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
